Hot Dip Galvanized Flanges

Hot-dip galvanized flanges have good corrosion resistance. They are immersed in molten zinc solution at about 500℃ after the flanges are made, formed and derusted, so that zinc layer is attached to the surface of steel members, thus achieving the purpose of anticorrosion.

Hot dip galvanizing principles
Clean iron parts, then treat them with solvent. Soak them in zinc solution after drying. Iron reacts with molten zinc to form an alloyed zinc layer. The processes are degreasing, water washing, acid washing, plating assistance, drying, hot dip galvanizing, separation, cooling and passivation.

Advantages of hot dip galvanizing
1. Low treatment cost:
The cost of hot dip galvanizing for rust prevention is lower than that of other paint coatings.

2. Durability:
In suburban environment, the standard hot dip galvanized antirust thickness can be maintained for more than 50 years without repairing; in urban areas or offshore areas, the standard hot dip galvanized antirust layer can be maintained for 20 years without repairing.

3. Good reliability:
The galvanized layer is metallurgically bonded with the steel and becomes a part of the steel surface, so the durability of the coating is reliable.

4. The toughness of the coating is strong:
The galvanized layer forms a special metallurgical structure, which can withstand mechanical damage during transportation and use.

5. Comprehensive protection:
Every part of the plated parts can be plated with zinc, and even in depressions, sharp corners and hidden places can be fully protected.

6. Save time and effort:
The galvanizing process is faster than other coating construction methods, and the time required for painting on the construction site after installation can be avoided.
