Improvement Methods of Hydraulic Gate Valves

1. The internal parts can be improved. The original design has many internal parts, a complicated structure, and unreasonable connection and fastening methods. In actual production, the failure of blowing gate valves has the highest probability of affecting production. There are 12 pieces of old gate valve internals: two discs, one valve core, one lower wedge, two iron blocks, two connecting earrings, and four fastening bolts, which are complicated in structure and difficult to disassemble and assemble.

After improvement, the internal parts are divided into six parts, which are reduced by half. It consists of two discs with self-supporting and female claw buckles, an upper wedge, and a lower wedge. The four pieces are linked into a set by clever mutual hooking and hanging with flexible and reliable expansion and contraction during opening and closing.

2. The connection mode between the valve stem and the upper wedge can be improved. The original connection mode:
The lower end of the valve stem has a T-shaped structure and is connected with the upper end of the valve core.

The upper part of the upper wedge is provided with an internal thread hole. The T-shaped head of the valve stem is removed, and the lower end of the valve stem is changed into an external screw head and fastened with the upper wedge as a whole, and then the valve stem is prevented from falling out. The improved features: simple structure, difficulty to fall off, long service life, and reduced failure rate by over 60%.

3. The stroke of the valve plate can be improved, and the height of the valve plate is not raised enough, which directly affects the blowing flow rate, meaning that the diameter is reduced here. The blowing efficiency is reduced and the blowing time is prolonged.

The improved design can open all the valve plates, and add anti-over-position measures, so that the problems existing in the old design scheme can be effectively solved.
