Petrochemical special valve:
In petrochemical special valves, the single-acting spool valve and double-acting spool valve in the catalytic cracking device are typical.

The single-acting spool valve sends the catalyst that has accumulated carbon through the reaction to the regenerator for combustion, or leads the regenerated catalyst from the regenerator to the riser. The design pressure is 0.2 - 0.3MPa. The design temperature is 500 - 900 ℃.

The double-acting spool valve is a valve used to control the pressure of the regenerator, and the operating medium is high-temperature flue gas with a trace amount of catalyst. The design pressure is 0.3Mpa and the design temperature is 870 ℃. The spool valve is driven by a pneumatic or electric motor. In the pneumatic motor transmission system, it receives a pneumatic signal of 0.2 ~ 1.0kgf / cm2 through the valve positioner. The control system consists of a command valve, a exhaust valve and a quick opening valve. It can achieve 1/400 sensitivity and 1/100 accuracy. This kind of spool valve is only produced by a few factories in China.

The cracking gas valve and coking valve of the ethylene cracking unit are 3 to 42 inches in size, and the operating temperature is 415 to 593 ° C, with welded structure, and hard alloy welded on the sealing surface. Parallel double gates and the seal pair are frictionless. The disc spring set and wedge mechanism ensure that the valve is flexible and reliable. The expansion joint in the valve can prevent the cracked gas from leaking into the valve cavity. Motor drive and valve body material is 15CrMo, internal material is 15CrMo, 35CrMo, 2Cr13. At present, this kind of valve can be manufactured in China, while the large-diameter valves need to be imported from abroad.

The high-temperature high-pressure angle globe valve and throttle valve in the ammonia plant have operating temperature of 560 ° C, nominal pressure of P≤42Mpa, nominal size of DN10-110mm, and can be applied for media including methanol, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen, etc. There are also oxygen globe valves and ball valves in the air separation plant, the nominal size DN ≤ 900mm, the minimum operating temperature -196 ℃, the nominal pressure 0.2 ~ 16Mpa. In addition, there are special valves for wellhead devices commonly used in oil mining, such as oil inlet valves with nominal pressure of API 2000 to 20000Psi; API 6A flat gate valves, angle throttle valves, pilot safety valves for natural gas wellheads; API 6D fully welded ball valves for long-distance oil and gas pipelines; Pressure changing metal sealed ball valve, etc.

These petrochemical special valves are difficult to manufacture, complex in technology, and require high quality and reliability. The selection of materials must be appropriate, and the manufacturing process must be strict, which is not something that ordinary valve factories can do. But these valves are commonly used in petrochemical production, with high technical content and high value. Because petrochemical production is basically in high temperature, high pressure, flammable, explosive, corrosive, toxic media, if the valve switch is not effective or the seal is not tight, leakage will occur, causing major personal and property accidents such as fire, explosion, and poisoning. Therefore, although the valve technology for petrochemicals is not very complicated, it requires high quality. In the history of domestic petrochemical production, high-temperature valve leakage of oil refining equipment caused fire accidents from time to time, hydrogen valve leakage and explosion of oxygenation equipment caused dozens of casualties, and nitrogen valve leakage caused suffocation of maintenance workers almost every year.

At present, China's valve industry is very complex and fiercely competitive. Most valve factories pursue technological progress and work hard to improve quality. There are also some valve factories with poor management, neglecting quality, and even cutting corners to reduce costs, such as reducing the thickness of the valve body, selecting unqualified materials, and even counterfeiting famous brands. Some famous-brand valve factories expanded the scope of the joint venture indefinitely, but the management was lost, and the quality of the valve dropped significantly, smashing their own brands. Over the years, in the petrochemical transformation and expansion projects, fake and inferior valves have been repeatedly discovered, which is very dangerous.

The annual volume of valves purchased by the national petrochemical industry can reach 2.2 billion yuan. Commonly used valves can be purchased at home, high temperature, high pressure, low temperature valves, corrosion-resistant valves, and valves for solid medium may need to be imported from abroad.

To this end, the three major groups of Sinopec, PetroChina, and CNOOC have established their own equipment procurement networks. To enter this procurement network, companies are required to submit applications, provide information on their manufacturing capabilities, manufacturing qualification certificates, and product identification certificates. In order to enter the procurement network after a strict approval process, a certificate of access to the network will be issued. Only certified manufacturers will be eligible to participate in bidding and procurement. The qualifications will be reviewed once a year, and manufacturing companies with serious problems will be eliminated.
